Carrier Air Wing 8 arrived at Oceana NAS on Friday, March 10th after a six-month deployment aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt. Even though the weather was blustery and cloudy, squadrons VF-31, VF-213, VFA-15 and VFA-87 were greeted with an warm, enthusiastic welcome from friends and family.

This cruise marked the end of the F-14's combat deployemnts. VF-213 will transition to the F/A-18F in April and VF-31 will move to the F/A-18E in September.
